I just wanted to give a shout out to the US hockey team. It was a game hard fought, and a lot of fun to watch.

I LOVE this song. It's a Sergio Mendes tune, featuring India Arie. It's all about kindness and love. So pretty and inspiring, albeit cheesy. Listen to it, it's a great way to start the weekend off. BEIJOS.

Girl Crush

Fiesta !!

Last night, a few girlfriends and I decided to escape reality. We ran away to a beautiful beach bar somewhere, and had the most delightful time. We ate fish tacos with mango salsa, dressed in spring's finest, and pumped some island tunes. It was the most incredible way to beat a case of the mid-week blues.



* Menu= fish tacos, mango salsa, cabbage and avocado coleslaw, blue corn chips, some homemade guacamole.

* Drinks= Mexican beer, Margaritas, and Rum Punch

* Music= Barrington Levy, Sergio Mendes, Ace of Base, Tribalistas, Daddy Yankee, Shakira, and MJ

* Decor= Tiki torches, fairy lights, fresh flowers, and lots of color

* Activities= Nails, outfits, and DANCING

The night was truly a dream, I think we all felt like we really got away. Thanks girls. XO.

POW POW

Inspired by the olympics and dreary winter weather, a few of my friends ditched out on their lives today to go snowboarding in PA. What a way to make the best of the snow, I hope they get some great runs. Have fun boys!


Anyway, I truly love the idea of daycations, they are so easy and fun. Where shall we go next ??

Glasses for Good

This company is awesome. Another brilliant bunch of kids from Wharton, who are doing good while looking fine. These glasses are like TOMS, but for eyewear. It's a wonderful concept, and the glasses are pretty sweet. I'm totally digging it.

So Brilliant

So last night I had a lovely dinner with an old elementary school friend who is awesome. It was great to catch up, but also even cooler to see all of the exciting things that he is doing. One of his many projects is a company called Hydros Water Bottles aka the first reusable water bottle with a built in filter. The company was started by 2 guys that graduated from Penn last year, who are working alongside my friend Winston. It is an awesome product; environmentally safe, made in the USA, etc ... SO COOL !! Plus, the design is super light and chic, so cute.



I'm pretty sure that these will be the next big thing, BUY ONE.

Relax

Lazy days sure are nice, but a little bit of sunshine sure makes them a whole lot better. I think its time for a mid-wintervaca. If I had my choice, I would run away right back down to south america. My parents just skipped over to Hawaii, which doesn't sound all too horrible either. Where would you go ??

Winter Blues

February is dragging on. The snow is melting, there are puddles everywhere, and it's still so cold. Instead of sulking away these last grey weeks of winter, I will try to breathe a little fresh air into the office computers of my dear friends. Winter is dull, but they certainly are not. So I'm going to give it a whirl, and jump into the world of blogging. Enjoy my loves. Always and forever, em.
